Let’s be honest — confidence can be a slippery little devil.
One moment you feel like you’re smashing life, the next you’re standing there with sweaty palms, dodgy knees, and that annoying voice in your head whispering, “What if I mess this up?”
Sound familiar?
Good. You’re in the right place.
Whether it’s a work presentation, a tricky conversation, a date, or just showing up fully as you, this blog is about helping you step into the most confident version of yourself — without needing to fake it, force it, or wait for permission.
This post is based on my Monday Motivation livestream (catch it live every week at 9PM). If you missed it, here’s the short version: three mind-hacking confidence tools — plus a guided hypnosis journey to embed it all deep into your subconscious.
Let’s get stuck in 👇
Hack 1: The Future Memory Method
Your brain is a bit daft in a wonderful way. It can’t tell the difference between real and imagined experiences — and that’s a good thing.
So here’s the trick: visualise a future moment of success — something that hasn’t happened yet — but picture it like it already has.
Let’s say you’ve got a big meeting, interview, or moment coming up.
Close your eyes (not right now if you’re driving, obviously) and imagine yourself 15 minutes after it’s all gone perfectly. You’re buzzing. Smiling. Calm. The job’s done. You nailed it.
Really see it. Feel it. Hear the compliments. Feel that wave of relief and pride.
Your brain soaks that in like a sponge. And when the real moment comes? It already feels familiar. That success is wired in.
That’s how you make confidence your default — by rehearsing success before it happens.
Hack 2: Confidence Anchoring (With a Twist)
If you’ve ever had a song take you back to a memory in seconds — that’s an anchor.
Let’s steal that power and use it on purpose.
Here’s how:
- Think of a time when you felt unstoppable. Could be anything — but keep it clean 😉
- Close your eyes and relive it. Feel it build in your body.
- When the feeling peaks, press your thumb and index finger together. Hold it. Lock it in.
- Repeat. Often. Then use that gesture whenever you need a boost.
It’s like a confidence button you carry in your hand.
And the twist? Don’t wait for confidence to show up. Act like it’s already there. Fire the anchor and step straight into the feeling. The more you do it, the stronger it gets.
Hack 3: Identity Embedding
Here’s the biggest shift of the night…
Confidence isn’t something you do. It’s who you are.
When you look at someone confident, you’re seeing someone who’s decided — consciously or unconsciously — that confidence is just part of them.
You can do the same. Today.
Ask yourself:
“What would the most confident version of me do right now?”
Then do it.
No second-guessing. No faffing. Just do it. Step into that version of you like you’re putting on a jacket.
Keep doing that and your subconscious eventually goes:
“Oh right, this is who we are now.”
And that, my friend, is how confidence becomes your new normal.
Lock It In With Hypnosis
After the hacks, I wrapped up the livestream with a guided hypnosis session to lock in all three techniques — future memories, anchors, and identity — deep into your subconscious.
If you’ve never tried hypnosis before, it’s basically guided daydreaming… with purpose.
And let me tell you — it works. It’s calm, it’s powerful, and it helps those little mental shifts stick like glue.
You can find that session on my YouTube channel or watch future livestreams where we go deeper every Monday.

“What would confident me do?”
Then go and do it.
You’ve got this.
