A Proper Week on the Road as a Hypnotist
This week’s been one of those where you look at it after and think…
“How is this actually my job?”
Not calm.
Not quiet.
But exactly how I like it.
Kicking Off the Season Properly
First show of the year at Whitemead Forest Park.
Love that place.
Team are spot on, audience were bang up for it, and it’s one of those venues where you just know it’s going to be a good night before you even start.
And it didn’t disappoint.
That’s always a nice way to kick things off for the season.

Scotland… And A Woman I Won’t Forget
Then up to Scotland.
And this is why I love live shows… you just can’t script it.
Had a Scottish lady on stage who would not stop swearing.
Every suggestion… every reaction… just laced with great Scottish banter
Absolute gem of a person.
The crowd loved her, I loved her, and it’s one of those moments that will stick with me for a long time.
That’s the beauty of this job.
No two shows are ever the same.
The Torquay Mission
Then came the big one…
6.5 hour drive down to Torquay.
Except… motorway closed.
Standard.
This is why I always leave extra time—because something always happens.
Got there just in time.
Straight out the car, into the venue, pretty much straight on stage.
No warm-up. No messing about.
Just straight into it.
Show done…
Back in the car…
And straight back up to Yorkshire.
That’s the bit people don’t see.
Club Tropicana – Different Level
Also this week, back at Club Tropicana.
And honestly… what a show.
Every time.
The production there is on another level.
Lights, sound, atmosphere… it just adds so much to the whole experience.
Makes my job easier when everything around you is that good.
The Bit Behind the Scenes
And in between all that…
I’ve been putting together the next stage hypnosis training.
Which is something I’m really looking forward to.
Because it’s not just about teaching people how to hypnotise…
It’s about showing them how to actually put on a show.
Big difference.

What This Week Really Shows
If there’s one thing this week sums up, it’s this:
This job isn’t just about hypnosis.
It’s about:
- Reading people
- Handling whatever gets thrown at you
- Adapting on the fly
- And still delivering every single time
Whether it’s a perfect venue, a chaotic motorway, or a swearing Scotswoman stealing the show…
You’ve got to roll with it.
What’s Next
More shows coming in.
More miles on the road.
More stories like this.
And getting everything ready for the training, which I’ll be sharing more about soon.
If You’ve Never Seen It Live…
Honestly… you should.
Because no video, no clip, no post really captures what it’s like in the room.
And if you’re planning an event and want something people will actually remember…
You already know where I am.
